GDPR-Data Protection
From the 25th May 2018, new regulations have been introduced which affect how our school handles people's data. This is called the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The GDPR regulates the way that Data Controllers, such as Wilby CEVC Primary School, process personal data (students, parents and employees etc) and the legal rights that individuals have in relation to that data.
The Tilian Partnership Data Protection Policy sets out the Trust's commitment to GDPR and the implementation of a data protection by design approach.
The School Data Protection Officer (DPO)is the CEO of the Tilian Partnership and they can be contacted at dpo@tilian.org.uk.
The DPO is responsible for ensuring compliance with the Data Protection Legislation and with this policy. Any questions about the operation of this policy or any concerns that the policy has not been followed should be referred in the first instance to the DPO. Further detail on this can be found in the Trust Data Protection Policy
The following Tilian Partnership Policies can be viewed below:
Data Retention Guidelines are also available from the school office.
Further information can be found at the ICO's website.
