Royal Cupcakes are winners with everyone!
On Friday 18th May pupils at Wilby entered into the spirit of the Royal Wedding by designing and creating their own brilliant Royal Wedding cupcakes. These were then sold after school to raise funds for our link school in Mogonjet, Kenya. Sales raised over £80 which will help towards funds for the school's new water tank. So far this year Wilby school has raised over £130 for Mogonjet Primary School. The Royal Wedding cupcakes were entered in to a competition in school and then on Saturday 19th photographs of the cakes were then displayed in Wilby Village Hall. Residents of the village got to select their favourite cakes too. All of the entries were brilliant and we thank all of our pupils and parents/ carers for their hard work and creative skills in making this such a successful event.
